my story

IMG_4940.JPG

Growing up in Southern West Virginia I was always peeling through any design magazines I could get my hands on and dreaming of fabulous New York City or San Francisco apartments, walk-ups, brownstones, lofts, and of course penthouses. When it came to TV, I loved old movies - the costumes, the sets, hair, make-up, everything was so glamorous. And of course Elsa Klensch on CNN’s Style which highlighted the latest trends in clothing and design from all over the world.

These days I’m a little (just a tad) less glamorous and lean towards timeless and functional. I’ve surrounded myself with art and furniture pieces that will never go out of style. They are mostly pieces that I have received from my family and they all have a story.

I tell my clients to surround yourself with the things you love. By doing this, you bring even more love into your home. And from that love comes warmth and calm that then transcends to every aspect of your life - work, relationships, and your soul.
